Purple Hills Arts & Heritage Society is pleased to present a series of afternoon Chamber Music Concerts featuring musicians of the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony.
To start off the series, we hope you will join us for Brass throughout the Ages on February 2nd at 2pm at St. John’s United Church in Creemore.
Bach Contrapunctus 1 from The Art of Fugue Morley, arr. Barnes My Bonny Lass She Smileth Maurer Three Songs | Debussy, arr. Sabourin The Girl with the Flaxen Hair | Gabrieli Canzona Prima a 5 Maschwitz/Sherwin, arr. Gale | A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square | Bernstein Three Selections from West Side Story | Cheetham Scherzo | Kamen Quintet | Esmail Tuttarana
The series will follow with a Wind Quintet on March 9 and a Harp Quintet on April 6. All three concerts will be held at 2 PM at the St. John’s United Church, 192 Mill St. Creemore.
Tickets are $35 + fees per concert or $95 + fees for all three concerts. A tea will be served at the end of the series on April 6th.
