The Purple Hills Arts and Heritage Society is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering arts, culture, and heritage in Creemore and the surrounding area. We currently have two openings for year-round volunteer roles:
- Sponsorship Support Member (Creemore Arts Fest / PHAHS)
- Artists-on-Location Coordinator (Creemore Arts Fest)

Please note that these are committee positions with defined responsibilities and a significant time commitment. As there are a limited number of openings this year, we may not be able to involve everyone who expresses interest. However, we truly value your enthusiasm and will keep your information on file for future opportunities.

Artists-on-Location Coordinator
Purple Hills Arts & Heritage Society
The Purple Hills Arts & Heritage Society is seeking a volunteer to coordinate the Artists on Location (AOL) program – Oct. 3 and 4, 2026.The coordinator will be assisted by two Arts Fest committee members who will provide training on existing systems and share their experience with the program.
The Artists on Location program celebrates creativity by connecting artists with local spaces and the wider community. We’re looking for organized, community-minded individuals who are excited to help us bring this program to life.
Duties
- Assist in the creation of an AOL plan for 2026
- Assist in drafting and posting the call for artists
- Manage artist applications
- Communicate with prospective participants
- Help maintain participant lists, and communications
- Work with committee members to ensure proper payment
- Aid artists in pairing with venues if needed
- Maintain excellent records for use in event brochure
- Coordinate with the marketing and sponsorship teams as needed
Ideal Volunteers
We’re looking for people who:
- Enjoy working collaboratively and communicating with artists and community members
- Are familiar or willing to learn how to work in google drive
- Are able to attend regular meetings throughout the year
- Are readily available for conversations with artists March to June and throughout September

PHAHS/Creemore Arts Fest Committee member:
Sponsorship Support Member
Through events like the Creemore Arts Fest PHAHS brings together artists, community members, and visitors to celebrate creativity and local culture.
We are seeking a Sponsorship Team Member, to support the development and delivery of the sponsorship program for PHAHS and more specifically Creemore Arts Fest. Working collaboratively with other committee members to secure funding and in-kind contributions from local businesses, organizations, and individuals to support the organization’s success.
Duties
· Assist in identifying and researching potential sponsors and community partners.
· Support outreach efforts, including preparing sponsorship proposals, presentations, and materials.
· Help maintain relationships with existing sponsors and ensure fulfillment of sponsorship benefits.
· Track sponsorship commitments, deliverables, and recognition in collaboration with the communications and marketing team.
· Participate in sponsorship meetings and report on progress.
· Assist in developing creative ideas for sponsor engagement and visibility during the festival.
· Support event-day sponsor recognition and engagement activities.
Ideal Volunteers
We’re looking for people who
· Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Are comfortable reaching out to businesses, organizations, and community partners.
· Are familiar or are willing to learn to work in Google Drive
· Have an interest in fundraising, marketing, or community engagement
· Enjoy working collaboratively on a volunteer team
· Are available to attend regular meetings between January and June and limited meetings as required from September to December
